SIMA 2019: the multi-specialized Parisian showroom

The Forigo Team returns with great enthusiasm to one of the unmissable events for those working in the agricultural sector: the 78th edition of the International Showroom for the suppliers in agriculture and farming. The Parisian fair will start Sunday 24th and will end Thursday 28th February. In the middle of these two dates many different initiatives will be held and innovativeness will find fertile soil to create new ideas. Discover all the novelties of SIMA 2019.

SIMA was born in France as a multi-specialized event, oriented not only towards agriculture but also towards breeding, a sector to which particular importance will be given in 2019. One of the main novelties of the edition will be, in fact, the establishment of the Breeding Day, in union with SIMAGENA, the appointment of SIMA aimed at the operators of the breeding and the bovine genetics. In this sense, the day of Wednesday 27 February will be dedicated to an “open show“, to international auctions and a series of conferences on the importance of AgTech in the breeding sector.

During SIMA 2019, exhibitors from the 2 sectors of reference of the event will meet visitors interested in opening up to innovation. To help them along this path there will be moments dedicated to the interventions of experts and round tables. In general, the speeches included in the event will aim to focus on the issues of:

• Augmented agriculture;
• Biological agriculture;
• Agronomy.

Among the main meetings, we mention the “SIMA African Summit“, a series of ideas for the development of the agricultural market in the Black Continent. SIMA 2019 will also include a section called “start-up village“, a real point of ‘meeting between innovative companies, and an area entirely dedicated to agroforniture: the idea of this edition is to give relevance to companies producing seeds, fertilizers, fertilizers.

Advertised through a motto that makes innovation the workhorse of this 78th edition, SIMA 2019 expects a large affluence of visitors. The last edition, dating back to February 2017, had recalled 1.770 companies from 42 countries in the world, with 232.000 tickets purchased. Compared to 2017, this year, according to the forecasts and the first data gathered, there will be a further increase in exhibitors.
