HortEx 2019: horticulture and floriculture in Vietnam

One of the key appointments of the Forigo team in these first months of 2019 will take place in Vietnam: from Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th March, Forigo Roter Italia will conquer Southeast Asia thanks to its participation in HortEx 2019 a trade show specialized in the production and processing techniques of plants and flowers. HortEx is the first Vietnamese fair entirely dedicated to horticulture and floriculture. Since it reached its economic stability, Vietnam can boast an exponential growth in GDP year on year, making it the most influential country in Southeast Asia. It is precisely on the basis of this awareness that HortEx is born, an event that focuses its attention on the growth of horticultural and fruit production within the country and the importance of related exports. 

Precisely because of its focus on these aspects, HortEx 2019 will not only bring together companies from the relevant sectors, but will also offer its visitors a series of in-depth seminars: these will be oriented towards the potential of Vietnam and the importance of innovative agriculture. Furthermore, within the event there will also be an export forum, a space entirely dedicated to interventions and meetings between companies, with a view to strengthening relationships and creating commercial agreements. 

The ideal of the Vietnamese growth that drives HortEx has attracted straight away a great number of companies and visitors all over the world: despite being only the first edition, HortEx 2018 counted more than a hundred companies coming from 20 countries and almost 5.000 visitors. The numbers are set to increase during HortEx 2019: many companies that participated last year decided to take part again. Surprisingly, Italy proved to be one of the first countries to focus on this fair, with about twenty companies ready to fly in Southeast Asia.
