Fruit Attraction 2021: the fruit and vegetable sector back in Madrid

From 5 to 7 October 2021 in Madrid, Spain, a new edition of Fruit Attraction begins, where all the largest fruit and vegetable distributors meet in a global event to discuss, establish new relationships and build opportunities. Fruit Attraction has increasingly consolidated itself as one of the most important world events in the fruit and vegetable sector: this is also demonstrated by the fact that more than 90% of exhibitors and 95% of visitors are participants who return every year. This year’s numbers are expected to return to the levels of those recorded in 2019, before the health emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic: an important signal demonstrating that the desire for sharing and exchange continues to grow.
It has been confirmed that more than 1200 companies from all production areas and autonomous regions of Spain, together with representatives from more than 40 different countries, will exhibit their innovative products and ideas. 65% of the stands will be occupied by fresh produce companies, while 28% will be made up of companies in the fruit and vegetable sector. These data are significant in helping to develop a sector that has proven to be fundamental for the economy, employment, and livelihood of the population.
The IFEMA Exhibition Center will host the fair in eight pavilions and, at the same time, will make the “Fruit Attraction LIVEConnect” platform available during the event and throughout the year, a digital tool designed to improve and complete the event in person, thanks to new technological functions for the fruit and vegetable community, such as contact management, networks, product and service catalogs, e-meetings, video calls and sector content.
The programs that are proposed in this event are really numerous. Among these, various conferences, congresses and debates: the “Biofruit Congress“, “Biotech Attraction” and “Smart Water & Energy“, characterized by the very high level of participants and organizers, who will emphasize the importance of innovation, technology and knowledge.
Fruit Attraction 2021 will also present some interesting innovations: an example is “Fresh Food Logistics”, a new sectoral exhibition platform for the logistics, transport, and management of the cold chain of fresh food. Its first edition will take place as part of Fruit Attraction 2021, but the intent is to develop autonomously as a specific event in the sector.
The two terms that best describe Fruit Attraction are diversity and knowledge: IFEMA will host a huge variety of products from different parts of the world, and this will give all visitors and participants the opportunity to share and exchange knowledge and experiences of the fruit and vegetable world, the which is constantly looking for innovation.
Forigo Roter Italia is perfectly reflected in the logic and innovative thinking of Fruit Attraction 2021, which wants to give space to the possibility of debate and comparison between different fruit and vegetable realities, to satisfy their thirst for knowledge and to be able to offer customers a quality product and to move with the times.
