Fruit Attraction 2019: the fair for the fruit and vegetables sector

As usual, this year Forigo’s team will be attending at Fruit Attraction, spanish exhibition dedicated to the fruit and vegetables sector. The event will take place from Tuesday 22^nd to Thursday 24^th October, in IFEMA, exhibition area of Madrid, and will have a lot of news. Discover more about Fruit Attraction 2019.

Fruit Attraction, now in its eleventh edition, has become a commercial meeting point for everyone in the fruit and vegetable business community. Statistics give the proof of this success, showing a year-over-year increase not only in the number of visitors, but also of participating countries.

Fruit Attraction 2018 has registered exceptional numbers, attracting over 81.000 trade professionals from 122 countries. These records show an increase of the 19% than the previous year: the clear demonstration of the importance of this event, which has become one of the main ones for the fruit and vegetables sector.

For this year edition, are expected about 90.000 visitors that will have the opportunity of relations with almost 2.000 companies of the sector. Even the number of participating countries will grow, from 122 to 130. The exhibition will be divided in 24 areas, that will allow the valorisation and knowledge of every aspect of fruit and vegetables sector. There will be a macro-area dedicated to the production of fresh products and a specific area for support elements (seed, fertilizer, nutrient, packaging, etc.), passing through Flower&Garden.

Flower&Garden has been the big news of last edition: its main goal is to develop and promote the flower and plant sector, which attracts the interest of the 10% of the visitors at the fair.

Besides this, it will be possible to access to Smart Agro, area in which will be offered technological solutions for precision agriculture, to Ecorganic Market, for the selling and export of organic product, and to Nuts Hub, dedicated to nuts.

The slogan of this year will be “Where Fresh Produce & Innovation Meet” and it will be referring to the 3 focal points of the event. We are talking about:

• Fruit Attraction becomes a meeting point for fruit and vegetable operators, in which it is possible to create business relationships and to open up to new markets;
• The active presence of different countries makes it possible to promote a continuous exchange of ideas and products;
• Fruit Attraction is also a space for debate and the exchange of knowledge about the latest technologies and productive methods. During the event, will take place different workshops, with experts of the fruit and vegetable sector.

Fruit Attraction 2019 will also be focused on commercialization, on innovation and on quality. This fair, in fact, is organized to allow the provision of knowledge and useful tool to companies, in order to reach high profitability.
