DLR Feldtag Gemüsebau 2022: a new day dedicated to agricolture and horticulture

After the participation at the 2021 edition, Forigo solutions are ready to reach Schifferstadt, in the south-west Germany, for the DLR Feldtag Gemüsebau 2022 event. This is always an exciting step for Forigo, especially for the historical nature of this event which has now reached its 18th edition.

The appointment will be on 8^th September, as usual at the DLR’s Queckbrunnerhof Experimental Centre for Horticultural Trials in Rhineland-Palatinate. Participants will have the opportunity to enter in an interesting context both for the vastness of the area, which extends over about 22.5 hectares, and for the variety of topics discussed.

The uniqueness of this event consists in the diversification of the planned activities, which goes from the exhibition sector to the demonstration tests. The practical and professional element is DLR Feldtag Gemüsebau 2022’ s particularity: here Forigo will fit in with all its expertise, towards the sharing of innovative and sustainable agriculture projects.

During the practical part will be proposed fertilization, intercropping and wetting agents’ topic which are going to further increase the range of elements shared in the expository part, such as seedbed preparation, planting, research programs, current prospects, and shredding technology. Forigo, thanks to his multi-year experience, will have again the opportunity to show his machinery efficiency in an active and dynamic background. Participants will live see Forigo’s innovative solutions to find out details, specificities and versatility during the technical demonstration that will be organized during all day.

Also, especially from 2022 edition, the DLR Feldtag Gemüsebau will be divided into a first part relating to a plant protection‘s training project at the ZTL (Centre of Agricultural Technology Augustenberg) and the KÖL (Competence Centre for Organic Farming in Rhineland-Palatinate) and a second online part, in which specific topics on plant protection will be discussed, with the final awarding of a certificated of advanced training. This expresses not only the event’s professional competence but also the desire to disseminate high knowledge and information as much as possible.

The DLR Feldtag Gemüsebau is now ready to open its doors to another edition rich of reflections on the needs and prospects of the sector: Forigo machines will be present at the event on 8^th September from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Queckbrunnerhof Experimental Centre in Schifferstadt.
