Agrotech Expo 2022: a milestone for agricultural development

In May, the Uzexpocenter will host Agrotech Expo 2022, one of the most renowned trade fairs in the field of agriculture and the food industry. Agricultural machinery, animal husbandry, horticulture and plant cultivation – these are the main areas covered at the event and represented by numerous experts. 

A must for exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, Agrotech Expo 2022 will be held from 25 to 27 May in Uzbekistan. Three days entirely dedicated to reflection on the future of agriculture, where participants will be able to deepen their knowledge of the most advanced technologies and equipment in the field of agriculture.

The sixteenth edition of Agrotech Expo promises to be full of new stimuli and opportunities for all participants. A landmark that every year records significant numbers, an indication of the importance and prestige achieved over time. An example of the high level of participation and internationalisation is given by the total number of visitors attending the event in 2021: 5,608 operators from all twelve regions of Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries. Exponential growth will also manifest itself in 2022, aimed at beating the record of 7,200 visitors counted in 2017.

The areas the event focuses on can be divided into two macro-fields: agricultural machinery and equipment and animal husbandry. These in turn are made up of various sub-groups, demonstrating how Agrotech Expo succeeds in offering an overview of the entire supply chain. What arouses the interest of visitors and exhibitors alike is precisely the offer of such a broad scenario in which to establish oneself in the agricultural and livestock sectors. 

Among the numerous sub-categories of the former sector, there are specific stands dedicated to agricultural machinery and equipment, tractors and trailers, logistics and transport, irrigation technology and crop protection. 

In the livestock area, on the other hand, solutions for animal husbandry and animal housing, feed production and storage, milk processing, slaughter technology and veterinary medicine will be on display.
