If you work in the fruit and vegetable sector, you cannot miss Macfrut, one of the most important events in Europe. Specifically, Macfrut is a vertical event dedicated to the entire supply chain: in fact, there are 11 participating sectors (Seeds, Plant Breeding & Nursery, Crop Technologies, Production, Trading & Retail, Processing Machinery, Packaging Materials, Fresh Cut, Dried Fruit, Logistics, and Services).

Over the years, this event has seen an exponential growth both as regards the participating exhibitors and the number of visitors (both Italian and foreign). This great success is due, in addition to the exhibition offer dedicated to each stage of the sector, to the increase in internationalization of the event and the presence of very interesting activities / conferences for the public.

More specifically, great enthusiasm was generated by the initiative Macfrut in the field, which saw the main producers of horticulture machines literally descend into a field of over 700 square meters (housed within the structure) to show in action some of the most innovative solutions among those that they had brought to the fair. Among these big players, there was also Forigo. If you missed our demonstrations, you can have a brief taste of them watching this video:

Among the many new features of Macfrut 2018, remaining on the subject of initiatives, we would like to mention two of them in particular:

  1. Tropical Fruit Congress. The first European summit dedicated to the cultivation of mango and avocado. The main players in the world of production and trade of these products will meet in Macfrut to explore, together with visitors, the new market and consumer trends.
  2. AcquaCampus. As in the 2017 edition visitors saw in action the machines dedicated to the processing of vegetables, this year they’ll see the most innovative irrigation systems of the market at work. The theme of water and water conservation in agriculture is a subject that increasingly plays a key role in the development of any activity in every part of the world. It is right, therefore, to reserve good attention to it.

In this context of growth and innovation, the Forigo team will be present with some of its most innovative horticultural machines, ready to help visitors to identify the most suitable solutions to their specific needs. Stay tuned, to learn more!

The appointment with Macfrut 2018 is at the Rimini Expo Center, 9-10-11 May, from 9.30 to 18. Do not miss this exclusive opportunity to meet new potential collaborators and discover the new trends in the fruit and vegetable market. Admission is free and, to maintain a high level of specialization, it is reserved for operators in the sector.
